Mason’s Name Has A Special Meaning

When it comes to their firstborn’s name, Scott and Kourtney put a lot of thought into it. In an interview with Life & Style, Kourtney Kardashian talked about the name Mason and how that name was the only one that stood out for her.
“Right before he was born, I told my aunt we were thinking about going with that for a name. She told me that Mason means the same thing in English that Kardashian means [to people of Armenia]—stone worker. Another aunt told me my great uncle used to use the name Mason when he made dinner reservations because Kardashian was too long. When I heard that, I thought, ‘Oh my god, it’s meant to be,” she stated in her interview. Mason’s middle is Dash, which is short for Kardashian and was his late grandfather’s Rob Kardashian nickname.
