High rent prices is another one of those everyday scams you can’t really avoid (in most cases). Not everyone is in a position to buy a home, and not everyone wants to buy a home. Owning your own home is a lot of work and a lot of worries. Plus, you need some pretty hefty cash up front, and if you live in an area where the housing market has gotten out of control, you might be priced out of everything but a box on the side of the street.
