You can’t beat corn casserole for any holiday or pitch-in dinner. It combines the deliciousness of corn with the awesomeness of casserole, making it irresistible. Everyone loves it so there are never any leftovers tempting you days or weeks later! And it is so easy to make. Combine everything in a pan, mix with a spoon, and you’re done with only two dirty dishes and no mess to clean up. This was one of the very first dishes I learned to make from my mother-in-law. She thought I should know how to make it because my husband loves it. It’s basically a magic potion to get my husband to do my bidding.

Ingredients

1 can whole kernel corn
1 can cream corn

1 box corn bread mix
8 oz sour cream
2 tbsp sugar

1 egg
1 stick melted butter

Directions

Mix it all together. (You can do it in a 13×9 baking dish and save yourself the dirty mixing bowl!) Pop it in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes (depends on glass vs. metal pan and your oven). It’s ready to eat when it’s golden brown on top.
