Donald Trump Called A Breastfeeding Mother ‘Disgusting,’ Which Will Surely Change All Our Voting Plans

trump-photoOh no, guys. I have terrible news. We’re all going to have to pick a new candidate to vote for in 2016, because Donald Trump went and called a breastfeeding mother “disgusting,” and this changes everything. You know, because he’s a real candidate and not the political equivalent of rubber novelty vomit and we were all going to actually vote for him to be president.

According to CNN, Trump had “an absolute meltdown” in 2011 when a lawyer at a deposition asked for a break to go pump milk for her three-month-old daughter. According to attorney Elizabeth Beck, pumping breaks had been agreed upon before the deposition. She said she was planning on pumping during a 12:30 p.m. lunch break, but Trump and his lawyers reportedly did not want the break. When they declined the break–during which Beck says she planned to pump in a private room nearby–she brought out her pump and started assembling it to show that it was a real medical issue and she had every intent of pumping even if they did not take the break.

According to Beck, Trump did not take that well.

“He got up, his face got red, he shook his finger at me and he screamed, ‘You’re disgusting, you’re disgusting,’ and he ran out of there,” Beck told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota.

“What kind of a leader of the United States would that be?” Beck said. “Is he going to behave that way when he’s negotiating treaties with China or Russia?”

Trump’s lawyers who were present at the deposition say that they think Beck was using the breastfeeding stunt to get more time to come up with questions. According to CNN, they do not deny that Trump called Beck “disgusting.”

“She was disgusting,” said Trump attorney Allen Garten in an interview with CNN. “She was attempting to breast feed — to pump in the middle of a deposition, in a deposition room with five lawyers and was not excusing herself.”

Trump, of course, took the story to Twitter.

 

I’m sure this is definitely going to change things for all of us, because obviously we were all planning on voting for an alleged racist whose lawyers allegedly think marital rape is an oxymoron. Because what we all want for the United States is for the next presidential term to be like when you go to a Chili’s with your great grandma and she starts saying racist things really loudly, except your family is America and that Chili’s is the whole world.
