Many mothers including celebrity moms have tied the knot while they were pregnant. Women more than ever are deciding on their own way when it comes to their own happily ever after and starting a family. Some celebrities go the traditional route, donning a beautiful white gown down the aisle before saying ”I do” and heading off to a reception. Then you have others who opt to skip the entire marriage thing and focus on their love without any titles document by the government. For some celebs ”First comes love,” ”then comes marriage,” or a baby and they find themselves expecting sooner than later and make the mad dash to married life before their little one arrives.

You may think there are some downsides come with being pregnant while saying ”I do,” but I’ve got two words for you: glowing skin. Pregnant brides are completely stunning, and the bonus is that they get a cuddly baby as an extra wedding gift. Sure, most couples put marriage before the carriage, but here are 20 celebrities who’s rocked baby bumps on their big day as their something new. Alicia Keyes is a powerhouse and one of the biggest names in the music industry. For quite some time she was rather successful at keeping the relationship she had with music producer Swizz Beatz out of the spotlight. It seemed that the couple was in no rush to get to the altar when they began dating. However, things changed pretty quickly for the pair when Keys became pregnant with their first child. The two were engaged in May 2019 and a few months later before they welcomed their son Egypt into the world in October of that year. These two remain to be one of Hollywood’s most affection couples, and since the birth of their first child had welcomed a second son Genesis.

While on the set of Pearl Harbor Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck is where the two met, but ended up falling for one another while filming Daredevil. The two ended their respective relationship (Ben with Jennifer Lopez and Jen with her ex-husband Scott Foley) before the two officially was an item. Fast forward two years, by June 2005, the two tied the knot in a private ceremony in Turks and Caicos. At the time of their wedding, Jennifer was four months pregnant with their first child together, a daughter they named Violet.

The Mamma Mia 2 actress met fellow actor Thomas Sadoski in 2015. After they worked together on The Last Word is when their relationship turned romantic. In 2017 the pair eloped in March 2017, with Sadoski revealing the big news on James Corden’s The Late Late Show. In the same month, the couple welcomed their first child L.O. Seyfried talked about heading down the aisle and being nine months pregnant in an interview, and said, “Look at that f*****g belly! But I really wanted to have rings on in the hospital, you know? And what if something goes wrong, and he’s not legally my husband?” So she bought a dress at Free People and off they went. “But I never picked any f*****g flowers!.” Hilarious!

The American Idol Alum and her now-husband Brandon Blackstock began dating back in 2012. At the end of 2012, the two announced their engagement, planning an over-the-top backyard wedding to take place that following fall. The pair who became stressed out from planning the event decided to elope, and married in a small private ceremony on a farm in Tennessee. Possibly it could have been more than just the stress of planning a wedding that made the couple rush to the altar. Eight months after the couple wed they welcomed their daughter River Rose. Two years later they co-starred in the cult teen flick  Cruel Intentions together, got married, and welcomed their first child.  All in a day’s work I suppose.  Cruel Intentions was the couples’ 1st acting debut, and actually during the shooting it when Reese discovered she was pregnant with their 1st child. When Witherspoon and Phillippe said  “I do” on June 15, 1999, in Charleston, South Carolina she was already five months pregnant because five months later came their beautiful daughter Ava Phillippe.

Drew Barrymore and her now ex-husband Will Kopelman were friends for quite some time before they started dating in 2011. Before the two married there had been numerous pregnancy rumors that were h swirling around, and the couple held on commenting publically until after they married. It was clear as day in their wedding snapshots that Barrymore had a baby in her bully. She showed off her bun in the oven in a stunning Channel gown on her big day. The couple’s daughter Olive was born about seven months after the ceremony.

Barrymore did such an excellent job at hiding the fact she was pregnant. A new outlet had reported that the mom-to-be had been snapped leaving a wedding dress fitting, and after looking at the photos, there was no way really to tell if she was pregnant or not.

Cook met back in 2014 on the set of Blackway, and two years after was engaged.  The actress and Cook tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Seattle, WA with two friends over Labor Day weekend 2017.  At the time, Stiles was two months away from giving birth and shared the joyful news by taking to Instagram.  She posted a pic of her and her new husband’s hands cradling her baby bump, with their new wedding rings on display for all to see alongside the caption,   Who doesn’t love a shotgun wedding?”.

In August 2015 New Girl star Zooey Deschanel had a huge announcement to make. The actress, and her husband, producer, Jacob Pechenik, had confirmed through their representative that not only did their welcome their first child with one another, but they had also secretly got married two months prior. At that time, her representative told Us Weekly, “I am thrilled to confirm that Zooey Deschanel and her husband, Jacob Pechenik, are new parents to a beautiful, healthy baby girl.”

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, Coldplay frontman may no longer be together, but their wedding was technically a shotgun trip down the aisle.  In 2002 the two met while Martin was on tour to promote his album  A Rush of Blood to the Head, and he asked Paltrow to come backstage to meet him after one of his shows in Los Angeles.  In December of 2003, the pair got married, and five months later they welcomed their baby girl Apple.  She was born about five months later after the wedding, so that makes Gwyneth about four months pregnant at the time her and Chris exchanged their vows.

Even though Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are in the process of getting a divorce, they did spend close to nine years together as husband and wife. If you ever watched Kendra’s show on E! Kendra you will remember that on her show she dated and got engaged to ex NFL player Hank Baskett. On an episode where her mother Patty surprises her with a bridal shower, Kendra announces as everyone raises their glasses for a toast to her that she can’t drink because she’s pregnant. Before the ceremony, there’s even a recording of the then-couple talking to Kendra’s pregnant baby belly before the ceremony.

The blushing bride was 7 months pregnant and gave birth to her daughter two months later.

Frankel actually announced to the world that she was pregnant not too long after her engagement, because gossip site PerezHilton.com had reported her pregnancy. “The Bravo reality tweeted
“I’m pregnant. I had to be true with you but was unfairly forced to come forward early.” She didn’t want to tell the public at that time because she had only been two months pregnant.

Close friends and family of Simpson and her musician fiance Pete Wentz attended a private ceremony to witness the marriage on May 17, 2008.  Her dad was the officiating minister at the ceremony that was held at his home in Los Angeles. Two weeks later Wentz announced to the world that the pair were expecting by writing on his site, “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives, and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.” Ashlee gave birth to their son Bronx in November of the same year.

The weekend after her nuptials, she recounted to her Today show viewers about being pregnant and getting married, ”We set the wedding date, I bought my dress, and then I found out. So I did a little praying. . . . I feel great, and actually, I’m so happy to tell the world because I can’t suck in this gut anymore.”
