Desperate Dad Is Offering $65 Million To Sexually Harass His Lesbian — And Already Married — Daughter

Don’t tell Hong Kong shipping and property developer, Cecil Chao, but his daughter Gigi Chao is already taken. Like super taken! Like she and her lady friend have been dating for seven years and were recently married in April. But those details aren’t stopping her father from offering up HK$500 million ($65 million) to any dude who can seduce his daughter into a heterosexual marriage. Gee, thanks Dad for the massive sexual harassment incentive.

Globalpost.com reports that Gigi’s 76-year-old papa, known for being quite the playboy himself, is all about getting his little girl hitched to a man. So much so that he’s placing the equivalent of a huge ad:

”I don’t mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind-hearted,” Cecil was quoted as saying by the Hong Kong daily…”Gigi is a very good woman with both talents and looks. She is devoted to her parents, is generous and does volunteer work,” he said.

Hong Kong does not recognize same-sex marriage so Gigi and her now wife, Sean Eav, tied the knot in France. Chao, however, not only won’t acknowledge his daughter’s partner, but he also refuses to accept that she’s into ladies. Clearly, the only way to rectify that scenario is to wave a huge money bag behind her because that will really bring the upstanding gentlemen out of the woodwork.

Not only is Chao in some obvious denial about his daughter and her partnership, but he’s essentially asking that she be sexually harassed at every turn by money hungry lechers. It’s bad enough to be in a relationship that your family doesn’t deem legitimate. But this daddy essentially de-legitimized his daughter’s relationship in the eyes of others too — and with dollar signs. Now Gigi can attribute every creepy pick up line and grab fest at the bar to her father’s paternal meddlings.
