In one of the best episodes of the series, Rosa tells her co-workers that she’s bisexual during a briefing, but also confesses that she has yet to tell her parents. Knowing that she has to tell them, she invites Jake out to dinner with her and her parents. At first, they pretend to be a couple, until Jake’s fiancée calls and he is forced to reveal the truth. Rosa comes out to her parents, who have a lot of trouble accepting her truth. During a family game night, they still aren’t accepting her sexuality, deeming it a “phase.†The next day, her father comes and tells her that he loves and accepts her, but her mother needs more time. As a result, they postpone their regular family game night.
