This baby name is great for a little boy. It’s funky and different and is the nickname of a well known Australian man. Barton “Banjo” Paterson was a poet who wrote the lyrics to the song “Waltzing Matilda” which is the unofficial national song of Australia. Banjo, which everyone called and knew him as wrote the poem The Man from Snowy River, that also later was turned into a movie about the poet’s life. Banjo is considered to be Australia’s first poet, and his image also appears on the (AUD – Australian Dollar) $10 note. Cool right!
