Ashton Kutcher Bought Demi Moore A $100,000 Car To Save Their Marriage

Everyone is still speculating on what ultimately caused the split between Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore and while some truly vile and sexist reports point to her age, her sexuality, or the couple’s open marriage — materialism seems to have been dismissed as a prominent factor. Materialistic marriages are known to suffer more problems and given that Ashton purchased a luxury car for his soon-to-be ex-wife just days before their divorce, perhaps that can give us more insight into their marital troubles.

The Two and a Half Men actor reportedly spent $100,000 on an eco-friendly 2012 Lexus LS 600h hybrid-engine car just a couple of days before Demi’s birthday on November 11th. Despite the fancy gift and grand gesture, Demi did announce that she was filing for divorce last Thursday via Twitter.

At present, it’s unknown whether Demi will keep the car post-divorce or if Ashton will be driving that Lexus right back to the dealership. Given the conclusion of her union with Ashton, the actress and mother of three certainly has more pressing concerns than the price tag of some flashy car.
