Anthony Weiner And Wife Huma Abedin Welcome Baby Boy

anthony weiner babyJust six months following a sexting scandal that made international headlines, disgraced former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner is a father. On Wednesday, he and his wife Huma Abedin a longtime aide to Hillary Rodham Clinton welcomed to the world a healthy, 7-pound boy named Jordan Zain Weiner. Baby Jordan arrive 10 days before his New Year’s Eve due date.

The high-profile finally has something to celebrate following a rather tumultuous year. On June 6, Weiner, 47, admitted to having several sexual relationships online while married to Abedin. It all started when Weiner sent photos of his aroused, underwear-clad crotch via Twitter to a 21-year-old college student in Seattle. At first he denied the rumors, claiming his Twitter account had been hacked, but later came forward with the truth.

Turns out this Seattle woman wasn’t the only recipient of Weiner’s blatant exhibitionism. Many more women came forward with their stories, including 26-year-old Texan and single mom Meagan Broussard, who provided dozens of photos, emails, messages and cell phone logs that showed how Weiner pursued her for a month.

Weiner resigned from Congress on June 16, just one year shy of his and Abedin’s one-year wedding anniversary. If you do the math, that means Abedin, 35, was just entering her second trimester while the whole sex scandal was goin’ down. I can’t even imagine how Abedin must have felt discovering her husband was “pursuing” these women online but also having to deal with the whole thing while pregs (hello, hormones!).

The couple, however, managed to escape the limelight and they were later spotted on a Babymoon to France and Italy. Like all high-profile couples and just regular ol’ couples, too nobody has any idea what goes on behind closed doors expect for the people who are in the actual relationship. So while it’s really easy to make fun of Weiner for being a dick, we do wish them a giant congrats all the best with their new addition.
