Andy Murray’s Mom Has Really Figured Out How To Embarrass Her Son

Andy Murray is the Scottish professional tennis player currently ranked No. 1 in Britain. And No. 4 in the world. He’s at Wimbledon right now where his own mother Judy Murray is causing him some trouble. Like many ladies, she has an eye for the Spanish heart-throb — and rival to her own son — Feliciano Lopez. She tweeted the note you see here and has followed it up with other tweets such as this one:

Wow. U can get odds of 20-1 that I’m going to wolf whistle at Deliciano during the quarter final tmrw. Whaaaaat? đŸ™‚

See, “Feliciano” becomes “Deliciano.” And you so know that name is going to stick. Partly because Feliciano is most Deliciano.

Anyway, her son is known more for being intense on the court and he was apparently less than pleased. When asked about his mother’s antics, he said:

“I think it’s about time she stopped that nonsense. Makes me want to throw up. It’s disgusting,” said Murray, who could meet Lopez in the quarter-finals.

“I was practicing with him before the tournament and my mum was on the side. I shouted across the net, I said, ‘Feli, if we sit down for a drink, could you take a picture with my mum, because she thinks you’re beautiful?’

“She went bright red. Refused to take the picture. Quite funny. Not like her.”

She responded by, how else, tweeting about it.
