As a warning for people who were thinking of trying this popular burnout trend, Australian police released footage from a 2018 gender reveal party in Queensland. The video showed a black vehicle emitting a ton of blue smoke as it drove off, revealing that the baby was a boy. But in a matter of seconds, the bottom of the car burst into flames and the smoke turned black, causing spectators to run to safety.
The 29-year-old driver was convicted of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and got fined $1,000. His license also got suspended for over six months. Whoops…
