Perhaps this Texas couple was inspired by Mike and Rebecca’s alligator-themed reveal. They thought that it would be a cool idea to throw a Jell-O-filled watermelon into a hippo’s mouth. When the hippo bit down on it, blue jello gushed out.
Not surprisingly, tons of people on social media criticized the couple for feeding the animal food dye, but according to the Capital of Texas Zoo in Cedar Creek, it was actually perfectly safe. Workers there even helped the family plan the whole thing.
