Kardashian Christmas Card Screams ‘Happy Holidays!’

The Kardashians have released their annual Christmas card and, well, let’s just say it’s not exactly full of holiday cheer. In fact, the Kardashians look flat-out miserable in the shot. But, hey, it’s over-the-top and attention-grabbing and isn’t that what the holidays are all about?

But seriously, I’d take this card any day over some of the other options out there like these shots of children posing with high-powered assault rifles. Or even this one from Puerto Rico mayor Jorge Santini that features a leopard brutally mauling a gazelle. (Yup.)

Don’t hate me for saying this, but the Kardashian photo, shot by Nick Saglimbeni, is actually striking. I’d go so far as to say I like it just not as a Christmas card. It’s sleek and stylish, to be sure, but so damn depressing during this supposedly joyful season. And, really, what are the Kardashians so pissed off about?

Oh, here’s the best part: the card comes in a 3D version, too! Would you expect anything less from the Kardashian klan?
