Hilary Duff Welcomes Baby Boy, Makes Me Feel Really Old

I can’t even imagine how our parents feel once they become grandparents. For many, their first thought is, “Holy shit, I’m way too young to be a grandmother!” (Never mind that most, these days, are well into their 50s.) Well, Hilary Duff having a baby kind of makes me feel that way. Granted, she’s not my daughter (duh), but the former tween starlet is just a baby herself! We’re not talking teen mom here Duff is actually 24 years old but I’ll always think of her as Lizzie McGuire, which even I was too old to watch and appreciate. When the Disney stars are all grown up, it’s time to feel old that’s what I’m saying!

Anyway, Duff who was dumped from the Bonnie & Clyde remake back in August after announcing her pregnancy has given birth to a baby boy with former NHLer husband Mike Comrie. The baby’s name? Luca Cruz Comrie. (Cute, no?)

Duff made the announcement on Twitter:  “Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy. We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world.”

Earlier this month, Duff starred in a ‘Funny or Die’ video that showed the ugly side of pregnancy (belly hair and all) proving that, much like Jessica Simpson, she’s already armed with a parenting essential: sense of humor. We wish Duff and Comrie all the best with their sweet new addition!
